Who We Are
MarinerTek, a woman owned small business headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, specializes in I.T. Systems Engineering, Sharepoint & .NET Programming, Managed Services and Cloud Solutions.
In the age of cloud computing MarinerTek helps organizations improve business agility through the use of VMware and Citrix virtualization technologies. At the server level, virtualization is critical for stability and flexibility. Extending this technology through the creation of Virtual Desktops (VDI) enhances the end-user experience, resulting in greater productivity and tighter security.
As an Enterprise Partner with both VMware and Citrix, MarinerTek provides certified engineers capable of designing, supporting, reviewing and/or optimizing data-center Cloud and end-user VDI environments.
Servers, desktops, notebooks and mobile devices (pads, phones, etc) benefit tremendously from virtualization. Leveraging this highly stable and extensible environment with tools which empower the end-user leads to greater productivity and efficiency. Sharepoint by Microsoft is one of the most crucial tools available; enhancing collaboration and information management across the organization.
Realizing the promise of Sharepoint's capabilities requires proper planning from the outset. MarinerTek has extensive experience planning and deploying Sharepoint; ensuring proper integration within the existing environment. Performance and the ability to scale over time are key components in the planning process. MarinerTek engineers will carefully assess utilization metrics and growth projections; ensuring a positive end-user experience.
Leveraging the concept of a common "fabric" and the .NET framework, MarinerTek programmers, working with the in-house team, develop custom tools which empower end-users; dramatically increasing their levels of efficiency.
On-going support of both virtualized infrastructure and Sharepoint systems is critical for continued success. MarinerTek offers both custom and standardized Managed Service plans.
How We Help
As organizations embrace virtualization and adopt cloud computing they must rethink how they build, run, deliver and access applications. MarinerTek addresses these issues by leveraging vSphere. This reduces the complexity of hardware management through comprehensive virtualization of server, storage and networking hardware. MarinerTek also specializes in virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) technologies.
Quite often cloud computing is described as a technology. It is actually a shift in business and economic models for provisioning and consuming information technology. MarinerTek helps companies create a cohesive cloud strategy. We factor together the computing resources serving their businesses into a secure, compliant, controlled and managed offering.
Custom application development helps businesses streamline operations by using software which is purpose-built to address specific needs. MarinerTek specializes in this area helping companies integrate specific business logic and process into a specialized software solution. Using our agile approach, user’s needs, functionality, design and feel are all considered. The result is streamlined business processes.
MarinerTek IT staff augmentation provides professional personnel to scale up and down dependent on workloads. This allows our customers to focus on their core business objectives.
